<p>"Wallpapers edited using OLEDify can help optimize battery usage by taking advantage of the OLED screens found on newer phones. OLEDify converts regular dark wallpapers into pure black wallpapers (#000000 - pixel is off). By turning off the pure black pixels, it effectively reduces battery consumption on devices with OLED and AMOLED screens, resulting in slightly improved battery life and exceptionally vibrant dark tones."

"Grey or other dark-colored wallpapers still keep the pixels on, which contributes to higher battery usage compared to wallpapers containing purely black pixels. For supporting research on battery usage in OLED screens, you can refer to the following link: <a href='https://www.greenbot.com/article/2834583/how-much-power-does-a-black-interface-really-save-on-amoled-displays.html'>Greenbot Article</a>. According to this source, pure black wallpapers can reduce battery usage by approximately 15-20%."

"To utilize the app, follow these steps:

<ol>
<li>Open a dark wallpaper by tapping the '+' button.</li>
<li>Set the threshold (T) slider to a value higher than 0, such as 5.</li>
<li>Long press on the image to activate the eyedropper/color picker.</li>
<li>Using the color picker, select a dark color.</li>
<li>OLEDify will then convert all colors darker than the selected color into pure black (#000000).</li>
<li>The 'Pure Black %' displayed at the top indicates the number of pixels that are turned off. Tapping on it toggles between displaying and hiding the black pixels.</li>
<li>Adjust the Threshold and R, G, B sliders until you achieve your desired look.</li>
<li>Tap 'Next' to save the image.</li>
<li>Use the 'Crop & Resize' tool to adjust and fit wallpapers to your screen dimensions. This feature is particularly useful for images that don't fit perfectly on your screen, as it allows you to create a new image of the appropriate size.</li>
<li>The 'Post to Reddit' option enables direct posting of the wallpaper to the /r/AmoledBackgrounds subreddit.</li>
</ol>
